Bill Kelly is an international artist, human rights advocate and “Creative Fellow” at the State Library of Victoria. He will present a personal perspective on Australian and international artists over the past 100 years whose work and life have addressed the idea of peace rather than war. Bill is a recipient of the Courage of Conscience Award, which has also been awarded to the Dalai Lama, Martin Luther King Jr., John Lennon and Desmond Tutu. He has a forthcoming exhibition “Not in My Name” with MARS Gallery, Windsor, in November this year.
Bill is also President of Regional Arts Victoria Affiliate Member G.R.A.I.N. Inc.
