Our Creative Arts Recovery Facilitator positions are sadly coming to an end. Andrea Lane in East Gippsland will conclude her role with Regional Arts Victoria at the end of this week.

Carolynne Hamdorf in Northern Grampians/Horsham and Amanda Gibson in Mitchell/Macedon/Hume will be working with us until the end of January.

These roles were part of the Creative Recovery program delivered by Regional Arts Victoria, and funded by Department of Health & Human Services via Creative Victoria. The program deployed Creative Arts Recovery Facilitators to three fire affected areas, Horsham & Northern Grampians, East Gippsland, and the Mitchell, Macedon Ranges & Hume areas, in response to the 2014 Victorian bushfires. Their work contributed to building community resilience through leadership, capacity building and creating partnerships and networks to assist with rebuilding fire affected communities in these regions.

We appreciate all the work that our three Creative Arts Recovery Facilitators have done in the area of creative recovery and we wish them well in their new endeavours!
