Expressions of interest for Small Town Transformations close in just one month on Monday 29 February 2016.

Towns with populations fewer than 2,000 people can apply for $350,000 for projects to transform their community through artistic practice.

Regional Arts Victoria Director Esther Anatolitis asks, “What kind of creative project would inspire a culture of artistic risk-taking in your town? What would encourage new work to be made, shared and discussed? What would attract new audiences as well as new makers?

"Small Town Transformations invites you to think big about how art, architecture, games, performance, music, design and more might leave a lasting legacy in your town.”

Projects will begin in August 2016 and end by October 2018.

Expressions of interest close at noon on Monday 29 February 2016.

It's not too late to start a conversation in your community – with your neighbours; your local council; on the street; in the studio – in all the spaces where art can be made and shared.

Tweet @RegionalArtsVic and #RAVsmalltowns and join the state-wide conversation.

If you have any queries about your application or eligibility for this project, please feel free to contact the Small Town Transformations Team.

You can also visit the Small Town Transformations website and Regional Arts Victoria for further details.
