2016 Education & Families Program Announced!

We are thrilled to announce our 2016 Education & Families program of inspiring art for enquiring minds!
Suzi Cordell Education & Families Manager explains with this program we “continue to encourage our young people to open their minds and explore, to use the creative side of their brains, to think critically and have a voice and to contribute to making the world a better place. What a world it will be with young people who can dream and innovate, think, connect and collaborate”.
For over 40 years, Regional Arts Victoria has been the leader in providing workshops, performances and arts experiences for children and young people. Each year we tour a wide range of projects throughout Victoria. We offer both incursion and excursion programs that are designed to be flexible, convenient and affordable. We tour shows all over the state from Manangatang to Lucknow, French Island to Wodonga!
The Education & Families Program can be accessed in a number of ways:
Our On the Road program tours a range of programs for 2-3 weeks at a time. These high quality productions showcase some of Australia’s best performers and artists, including the National Gallery of Victoria, KAGE, Polyglot Theatre and the Australian Shakespeare Company. These productions travel statewide during specific dates.
The On Call program consists of a variety of performances and workshops that can be booked all year round, at a time that suits your school, gallery or community centre.
We are also thrilled to offer a range of opportunities for schools and communities to participate in Artist Residencies, enabling students to engage more deeply in their arts experiences.
We offer a significant subsidy program for schools in difficult circumstances, so contact us or fill in the form here to find out if you are eligible.
