Art groups approved for membership can apply for public liability insurance under the Regional Arts Victoria Umbrella Scheme.
Each group's application for Public Liability Insurance is assessed individually.

The Insurance cover can only be applied to policy holders and is therefore not available for any groups that your organisation may auspice.
Description of Cover
Legal Liability for all amounts arising out of third party personal injury or property damage caused by an occurance in connection with the business activities of the insured including liability arising from the manufacture and/or distribution and/or sale of products. This public liability insurance covers most art activities.
Limit of Liability
$30,000,000 any one occurance, but limited to $30,000,000 in the aggregate in any one period of insurance in respect of products. $100,000 goods in care, custody and control.
Geographical and Jurisdictional Limits
Anywhere in Australia. (This should be read in conjunction with territorial limits as set out on Page 8, Section 15 & 16 of the policy.)
