Do you have a great artist or arts worker making a difference in your community?
The Community Partnerships Committee would like to announce that in 2012 nominations for the Ros Bower and Kirk Robson Awards will close on 2 March 2012 (this is earlier than previous years). The Community Arts and Cultural Development Awards will be held in September 2012.
The Community Arts and Cultural Development sector is made up of an amazing number of arts workers and artists who have long lasting and positive effects on the communities they work with. The Community Arts and Cultural Development Awards celebrate the remarkable work of these arts workers and artists in our sector. The Committee would like to encourage the sector to nominate arts workers or artists they feel have made a significant contribution to the communities they work with and to the sector. The Ros Bower Award honours lifelong achievement in community arts and cultural development and the Kirk Robson Award celebrates the sustained contribution of younger practitioners.
