Take Off with arts2GO in Term 2

Andrew McKenna

Touring to both metropolitan and regional Victoria, arts2GO presents a large range of high-quality arts incursions for schools and community groups in term 2.

Wanting some cultural diversity? Try the Nefes Ensemble's Illuminated, presenting a rich blend of sounds from the Ottoman Empire whilst exploring the history and technique of this fascinating period in history.

Perhaps you feel like a bit of a party? On Safari with Valanga and Leo explodes into schools with their boundless energy and exciting mix of jazz and the music of Africa.

Feeling crafty? Lee Darroch is back with a brand new workshop which encompasses traditional Indigenous arts including basket weaving and possum skin armbands.

Or perhaps you just want a good yarn? Andrew McKenna: Master Storyteller picks and chooses from his vast repertoire of stories from around the globe to entrance and delight primary children of Victoria. And for the secondaries? A Cry in the Wilderness is the true story of the cannibal convict Alexander Pearce.

Added to all of this is our wide array of programs - including Impro Melboourne, Born in a Taxi, Sunwrae Ensemble, Natyalayaa Dance Co, and OzRockStar - available on demand to schools in the metro Melbourne area and selected other regions.
