Poetry Alive! Complete Works Theatre Company

arts2GO twentyten presents an exciting program with opportunities for young people of all ages to engage with the arts at a variety of levels. Whether it be through active participation in a term-long residency with Circus Solarus, skills development in a workshop with Impro Melbourne or enjoying the Casio Brothers' performance of Fat Beats 4 Fit Kidz, arts2GO is back in the office and ready to help in any situation!

This year, arts2GO is taking ten companies to metropolitan and regional locations as part of the newly named touring program, Arts on the Road. Companies joining us for the first time are the Casio Brothers - who are performing at the Glastonbury Festival just before their arts2GO tour! - Complete Works Theatre Company with a hilarious exploration of poetry for primary students, deBASE Productions who fly in from Queensland especially for their tour, and upcoming Melbourne theatre company Leave the Cat Alone Productions who presented a sell-out season of Diabolica Jones at La Mama for Kids in 2009.

We also welcome the return of Polyglot, Real TV, the National Gallery of Victoria and the Centre for Youth Literature who are all presenting NEW works in 2010. Impro Melbourne will be back with their ever popular performance and workshop program, and returning to arts2GO after several years absence is KITA Performing Arts Company, presenting their amazing Asian dance and hip hop piece, Martial Funk, during cultural diversity week.

Arts Ongoing - arts2GO's residency and professional development program - kicks off the year with some workshops in Colac implemented by leading street theatre practitioners, Circus Solarus. Moving to regional Victoria after some years in Sydney, Circus Solarus joins the arts2GO program with an outstanding national and international reputation.

Also avaiable for long-term workshop based activities with your school or venue throught this year are Fun Arts Creative Entertainment, vocalists from renowned music educators and entertainers Coco's Lunch, and a new poetry and music writing program with Michael Crane, presenter of the annual Paradise Anthology, and Trish Anderson.

To help with all of your last minute arts-based needs, Arts on Call can provide you with a percussion performance/workshop (Fun Arts Creative Entertainment), dance workshops (aka Dance), a variety of screen and movie based productions in partnership with ACMI, as well as theatre improvisation workshops/performances (Impro Melbourne) and stagecraft development (Real TV).
