Finally the wait is over - the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre is officially opening on 18 September and there is a huge program of activities to mark the occasion. There is a huge free street party featuring street performers, fireworks and music on Friday 18 September, which is opening night and from Saturday 19 September onwards you can enjoy entertainment from James Morrison, Dallas Frasca, comedian Tom Gleeson, Deep Blue Orchestra, Wendy Matthews, Polyglot Puppet Theatre, the Wangaratta Players and Toni Childs.
