Laughing Waters Artist-in-Residence 2010
Applications for the Laughing Waters Artist-in-Residence 2010 are currently being accepted.
Nillumbik Shire Council, in partnership with Parks Victoria, invite emerging and established contemporary artists working in any medium to apply for a live-in residency for up to three months during 2010. This is an exciting opportunity for artists to develop their practice in one of two properties located in an inspiring natural setting on protected Eltham bushland, approximately 30 kilometres north-east of Melbourne.
Artists are required to devise and deliver a community project with support from Council Officers. No stipend is available, but a fee will be paid by Council (as budget allows) for artists to deliver these projects. Artists must have their own transport during the residency. Overseas artists supported by reputable art organisations or institutions may apply. Joint and group applications will be considered.

Applications close 4pm, Friday 18 September 2009
