Welcome to the September issue of eGroundwork, Regional Arts Victoria's monthly enewsletter.
Spring has finally sprung, and the creative industries seem to have followed suit. In September, Damian Callinan will twist and tango his way through regional Victoria, the Foothills Family Music Festival is happening, Melbourne Fringe begins, and much, much more. There are some fantastic tours, exhibitions, and events on this month - make sure you've got your diary handy, as you won't want to miss out!
In this issue of eGroundwork we'll be having a chat with Damian about his forthcoming show; speaking with the Artistic Directors of our statewide project, Illuminated by Fire; and letting you know all about Regional Arts Australia's Junction 2010 conference. There will be giveaways, news, and grant opportunities... make sure you have a read.
Although election fatigue is now an official disease, we're asking you to return to the polls as we really need your help. This issue includes a survey (for members and non-members) on RAV services and programs, and we'd love for you to fill it out - and we promise you'll see a result! RAV is always looking for ways to improve, and with your help, we'll be able to present more cutting-edge arts activities across the state in 2011. As an added incentive, members who fill out the survey will go in the running for 2 free memberships we have on offer (1 group, 1 individual) and we have a set of 5 double passes to forthcoming tours up for grabs for non-members. Further details are below.
As always, we want to hear from you. Got a fantastic event, arts story, or interesting project coming up? Let us know and we can promote you on our website and in our enewsletter. We're always looking for members and works to profile, so don't hesitate to get in touch if you've got a great story to tell!
We hope you enjoy this issue of eGroundwork.
Best wishes,
Maria O'Dwyer (Membership Manager) and the RAV team.
