Showcase Victoria 2011...it's a wrap!

TIMES UP!  Showcase 2011

A massive thank you to everyone who attended and sported Showcase Victoria. This year was the 13th Showcase event and was an unqualified success.

Showcase featured live performance excerpts and pitches from 28 production companies featuring 30 tour ready works vying for spots in the 2012 regional touring calendar. Also present were 15 EXPO participants and we had updates from arts2Go, Melbourne Theatre Company, Orchestra Victoria, the Arts Centre, HIT Productions, La Mama, The Melbourne Writers Festival, Theatre Network Victoria, Performing Arts Touring Alliance and Shows for Schools.

For the first time we opened up registration categories for Observers from the broader industry and students who can now attend Showcase to further their own professional development and start to demystify the process that is regional touring.
