Welcome to the August edition of eGroundwork, Regional Arts Victoria's monthly e-newsletter. Winter is almost over and the RAV offices are buzzing. The Regional Arts Fund grant is open again, and some fantastic new tours are being developed for 2011 that will see a wealth of new and established talent touring regional Victoria (and beyond)!

This weekend we were also lucky enough to have the Illuminated by Fire artists pay us a visit in Port Melbourne. The eleven projects are taking shape in extraordinary ways - it's an exciting time to work in the arts. With the release of the Bushfire Royal Commission report, it was also a timely reminder of some of the arts recovery work being done to assist those living in bushfire-affected areas.

This issue of eGroundwork will feature an interview with Angus Cerini and Susie Dee, stars of Wretch (now on tour); a profile of regionally-based glass artist Crystal Stubbs; giveaways; news; opportunities and much more!
