Welcome to eGroundwork, Regional Arts Victoria's monthly e-newsletter. While it might be getting cooler outside, things are definitely heating up at RAV as we start programming for 2011. We're also making a lot of changes at RAV and we want to hear from, our members and supporters.
Are you a RAV member? If so, did you know that you can include an artist profile on our website? This is a fantastic way to promote your work locally and to the community at large and can lead to exhibition, employment, and promotional opportunities.
We would also love to hear about your events - what's on, and where? Members can upload events directly to our website, but we want to hear from everyone. If you're not a member, please feel free to email the details of any forthcoming events and we will upload them for you. We require the event title, a brief description of no more than 100 words, 2 images (jpeg files only), and contact or booking details. If you have a website, please include the details so we can promote you as effectively as possible.
In this issue of eGroundwork, you'll find a feature article on 'Tea Tales' - a project that created sartorial splendour for Polly, a life-size cardboard doll, some updates on staffing changes at RAV, news articles, and of course, info on all our tours and events.
I hope you enjoy our July edition of eGroundwork; make sure you check out our website regularly for all the news and events happening in regional victoria.
Best wishes,
Maria O'Dwyer.
