Join renowned comedian Tim Ferguson and producer/director Marc Gracie whose credits include “Full Frontal” and “The Craic” at Open Channel's upcoming Free Filmmaking seminar:

THE PITCH!
What is it and how to do it!!!!!

This is where it all begins…don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting industry event!

Ever watched a movie, TV programm, or been on the net and thought, I’ve got a better idea than that!

A good idea for a film, TV/website series or an advertisement, can come from anywhere!

But what do you do next when you have those great ideas?..... You MUST have the ability to pitch it to the people who matter, THE PRODUCERS.

Refining and defining a pitch is a process of discovering the potential and the heart of your idea and conveying it to others in a concise and exciting way - within an allotted time frame!

If you have an idea, or would like to get your creative juices flowing, come and talk to the insiders – they’ll let you in on how it’s done.  Discuss new ideas, and how stories, films and TV series are developed.

The panel features :

Producer/Director - Marc Gracie

Marc has been a screen creator for three decades; his credits include feature films The Craic and Takeaway as well as television programs such as Full Frontal and The Adventures of Lano and Woodley

Comedian/Producer/Writer - Tim Ferguson.

Comedian/Producer, Tim Ferguson was part of the ground breaking – new era of funny men group, The Doug Anthony All Stars, for several years. When the group went their separate ways this lead to a  variety of television performances, as well personal appearances and a host of corporate roles.

As a writer, performer and producer Tim has enjoyed an extensive career both in front of and behind the camera; from his early work as part of the feature Circle Work, to the 'how to' manual for comedy, The Cheeky Monkey to much acclaim.

This is a FREE event & no bookings are necessary.
