In response to the number of events, photos and stories which have been forwarded on to Regional Arts Victoria to support the victims of the recent Victorian Bushfires, we started a blog to keep you updated on how regional communities are responding!

Swan Hill Bushfire Art Auction goes National!
Originally reported in the first post of this blog, the Swan Hill Bushfire Arts Auction has now gone national.
There are now 41 artists work up for auction on www.artsnorthwest.info so please visit this site and make a bid. Several bids have been submitted, and we look forward to many more over the weekend. On Line Bidding ends at noon, March 31st. Thank you for making your bids.
Art buyers will also receive a certificate of authenticity for the Bushfire Appeal.

This wall of words offers our community the opportunity to reflect and to express our sympathy and support for those individuals, families and communities who suffered such great loss in the February 7th Bushfires, 2009.
