The Hole Big Yarn - PROJECT UPDATE

The Hole Big Yarn Panmure community art project is well under way with progress on many different interpretations of the local theme, 'the big hole' (an iconic Panmure location and swimming hole).  Participants are busy making, and in a some cases "getting obsessed" with knitting and crocheting works to be placed in the landscape at 'the big hole' in Panmure.

February 25th -  Where Kat and I plan to move to Kyneton

 

To Kyneton.

Not that they'd exactly gone away yet, but the bushfires are back with a vengeance, flaring up like a bad, potentially fatal case of acne in Western Victoria. Kyneton's not directly threatened, but friends of mine in Hepburn and Glenlyon are evacuating. No-one's in the mood to gamble.

To COLAC

It's all about the tectonic plates in Colac. Not only is it located on the world's third largest volcanic plain (take that, Pompeii), it is also home to the world's most volcanic cappuchino. I've seen some coffees in my time, but this is the first where an entire civilisation was destroyed as the tragedy unfolded.
