Regional Arts Australia National Survey 2013

Have your say in the 2013 RAA National Survey.

Regional Arts Australia is asking people to help shape the creative future of regional communities as part of a national consultation by filling in a simple on-line survey during the month of June 2013.

The results from this survey will be fed into a national outcomes report, which will be used to determine the future directions for Regional Arts Australia's work in improving the lives of regional

Entries have officially opened for Cancer Council Victoria’s 16th annual Arts Awards. The awards provide Australians touched by cancer with an opportunity to share their experience creatively through art, writing and film.

The awards are open to artists of all skill levels in nine categories: Visual Art, Poetry, Short Story, Film, Indigenous Visual Art, Children’s Art, Children’s Writing, Youth Writing and Youth Art.

Exhibition opportunity - Art at Burnley Harbour 2012

The Contemporary Art Society of Victoria Inc. takes pleasure in inviting you to enter our ninth annual Art at Burnley Harbour exhibition, a showcase of artworks by both established and emerging artists.

Artists throughout the state are welcome to enter contemporary artwork/s in a variety of media - painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, ceramics & sculpture, etc. 

Entry fee: $7 per work. Maximum 6 works per artist. 

Entry form/payment deadline: Friday 16 NOVEMBER 2012.

Artwork delivery: Thursday 29 November, 3pm - 6pm. 

Artwork collection: Sunday 2 December, 6pm - 8pm.

Hamilton Pastoral and Agricultural Society’s largest farming show features everything from exhibits on the history of the animal in Australia, to live exhibitions of up to 1,000 sheep. 

In addition to traditional farming attractions such as the Ram Sale and the Sheep Show, Sheepvention also features an Inventions Competition and a Farm Dog competition.
