ECO-CUBBY - a partnership between the City of Melbourne and Regional Arts Victoria
Applications for Eco-Cubby 2010 are now open. Downlad the Eco-Cubby application form 2010 and apply now. Applications close on Monday 30 November, 2009.
Eco-Cubby is an initiative between the City of Melbourne and arts2GO, partnering with the Australian Institute of Architects and the Sustainable Living Festival.
The 2009 pilot project has been an astonishing success and has involved an ongoing, in-school workshop program which aims to illustrate how to adapt sustainable living technology and principals to everyday living. A project facilitator and architect visited participating schools providing stimulating discussion points, brainstorming ideas, and design expertise for students' very own Eco-Cubby.
Student's Eco-Cubby models and design documentation will be brought to Melbourne for display at ArtPlay from 9 January to 23 February, during the 2010 Sustainable Living Festival.

Professional Development Workshop for Teachers
In 2010, arts2GO and Ausdance (Vic) will again partner in the presentation of regional professional development workshops.
DanceTech is an innovative teacher professional learning workshop that tears apart traditional dance compositional strategies with technology. Join Ausdance (Vic) staff to explore how simple technology devices, available in every school, can support the learning of choreography in the classroom and engage students in dance.
If you are interested in attending a DanceTech for Teachers PD in your area, please send the Expression of Interest form below to arts2go@rav.net.au or contact arts2GO for more details.
