arts2GO coordinates performing and visual arts companies - with a focus on young people and education - to tour across metropolitan, regional and remote Victoria. The program also initiates and implements unique projects which engage young people and have a performance or exhibition outcome.
Projects and tours may involve working in schools, community centres, performing arts centres, outdoors at a regional festival or as part of a school holiday program.
arts2GO is looking to work with artists and companies committed to providing only the highest quality art-based performances or workshops.
In 2011, arts2GO will present three different programs:
- Arts On the Road – a touring program taking performances and workshops to schools and communities in both metropolitan and regional Victoria. Tours have set dates.
- Arts On Call – performances and workshops available to venues and schools at any time of the year. You should specify whether you are available statewide (across Victoria) or local (within 100km of your base location in Victoria).
- Arts Ongoing – in-school and community artist residencies (half days and above), as well as teacher professional development opportunities.
