arts2GO provides young people across Victoria with the opportunity to experience, engage with and participate in high-quality live performing and visual arts. Current research highlights the positive impact of young people’s involvement in the arts including increased motivation, self-confidence and creative thinking, student engagement and improved school attendance.
arts2GO’s incursion program is an inspiring, contemporary, and educational way to promote the value of the arts to young people in your community.
arts2GO offers programs in three main categories:
Arts on the Road: the arts2GO touring program taking performances and workshops to schools and communities in both metropolitan and regional Victoria across specific dates.
Arts on Call: performances and workshops available for your venue and school any time of the year.
Arts Ongoing: includes in-school and community artist residencies as well as teacher professional development workshops. Residencies allow you to tailor an extended arts-based program focussed on the needs of young people in your school or community. Professional development workshops can be provided as a part of your residency program, or you can join more industry professionals in specially run sessions to develop skills within your learning area.
