WANT TO VOLUNTEER AT REGIONAL ARTS VICTORIA?

Regional Arts Victoria inspires art across the state – and we’re looking for volunteers to help us do it!

Through creative facilitation, touring, education, specialised resources and advocacy, we develop and sustain creative communities and artistic practice all over Victoria. Regional Arts Victoria is an independent, not-for-profit, membership-based organisation working in long-term partnerships with every level of government, fostering contemporary and innovative regional cultural practice across five decades. We advise and impact on decision-making across multiple portfolios and levels of government. Regional Arts Victoria is the peak body for regional artists and arts organisations, and the leading organisation for regional creative practice in Victoria.

During the year we have a number of short-term opportunities for volunteers to participate in a range of activities at Regional Arts Victoria, from assisting at events like Showcase Victoria through to helping us keep in touch with our various artist and member networks.

Regional Arts Victoria structures our volunteer program so that volunteers can expect:

  • short-term arts industry experience in a hands-on environment among a diversity of peers;
  • the opportunity to volunteer in activities across our departments according to your interests and availability;
  • targeted professional development opportunities, with the chance to work with experts and peers in the arts sector;
  • a friendly, collegiate working environment, supported by staff who are passionate about the arts.

If you’re interested in volunteering with us please email us at enquiry@rav.net.au or call (03) 9644 1800 with your name, email address and contact number.

Volunteers on our volunteer list will be contacted when opportunities to get involved arise. You can choose when you volunteer and what opportunities you’d like to take advantage of simple by responding to our regular call-outs.
