Round Two funding for the Regional Arts Fund is Open Now
Do you have an exciting arts project based in a community in regional Victoria? Will it begin after 31 December 2009? A Regional Arts Fund grant could help to make it a reality!
Regionally-based Victorian organisations and individuals can apply for Project Grants of up to $15,000 for projects involving professional artists that result in a public outcome in the community in which they are based.
First-time or previously unsuccessful applicants can also apply for Toe in the Water grants of up to $5,000 for small cultural projects involving professional and regional artists.
Regional Arts Victoria's network of Regional Arts Development Officers (RADOs) will be holding one-on-one consultations* with individuals and organisations interested in applying to Round Two of the fund.
Applications close Monday August 10 2009.
It is essential that you contact Regional Arts Victoria if you are interested in applying.
For further information, including Guidelines and Application Forms, or to book a one-on-one consultation with your nearest RADO, please contact Regional Arts Victoria on t: 03 9644 1800, e: enquiry@rav.net.au, or click here.
The Regional Arts Fund was established to give all Australians in regional and remote areas better access to opportunities to practice and experience the arts. The Regional Arts Fund also aims to increase opportunities for isolated Indigenous and/or smaller regional communities.
The Regional Arts Fund supports the arts in regional, rural and remote Australia and is administered in Victoria by Regional Arts Victoria.
* Swan Hill Regional Arts Development Officer Kim Bennett will also be hosting an information session on Thursday July 9 at the Swan Hill Library from 11am. Contact Kim on kbennett@rav.net.au or (03) 5032 5269.
