Have your say - visit Regional Arts Australia's online survey for regional Australians
Regional Arts Australia is asking people to come to a free public consultation to help shape the creative future of regional communities as part of a national consultation.
Regional Arts Victoria will be hosting National Consultation Forums in Bendigo and Ballarat (visit the link for more details.)
Anyone who wants to have their say, but can't get to one of the
forums, is invited to complete a short online survey here
The results from this forum will be fed into the national outcomes, which will be used to determine the future directions for Regional Arts Australia's work of strengthening regional communities through arts and culture.
The consultation is about getting ideas about the arts from people living and working in regional communities, to explore the role of arts and culture for regional Australians and to look at how the arts intersect with areas such as health, education, environment, tourism, technology, Indigenous, cultural and economic development.
Steve Grieve, President of Regional Arts Australia said "Everyone from artists and cultural workers, volunteers, community interest groups should come along to have their say and help shape the artistic future of the arts in regional Australia."
"The consultations taking place around the country is about giving strength to our national voice which advocates for regional arts. It's a great way for the local community to tell us what you want in the arts for your region."
