Tenure: 4-6 month contract
Salary: Hourly rate, to be negotiated
Full Time Equivalent: We are seeking someone for 3 days per week or 0.6 FTE

An opportunity has arisen for an accounts professional with a good understanding of the demands of a multi-faceted arts organisation to join Regional Arts Victoria in a short term bookkeeping and accounts management role. The position is offered as a fixed term contract for a period of 4 to 6 months in the first instance.
This role requires an individual with a strong and demonstrated background in undertaking bookkeeping in a similar role with a clear understanding of managing debtors and creditors, electronic payroll, PAYG, BAS and other related tasks. A tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or business management is desirable. You will be able to work independently and with initiative, as well as part of a team.
